Coral Springs Traffic Intersections To Get $480,000 in Lighting Improvements

Coral Springs, Florida – It may not be easy to tell, but many of Coral Springs’ major traffic intersections aren’t well lit at night – a factor that could play a role in car, bike, and pedestrian accidents.
That’s in the process of changing, thanks to a $480,000 state project to illuminate signalized intersections.
The Florida Department of Transportation is upgrading intersections on University Drive and Sample Road with new light poles and new light fixtures and retrofitting existing lighting fixtures with LED lights.
