Covid-19 testing site at Mullins Park is closing

Coral Springs, Florida – Those who want to be tested for Covid-19 at a public testing site in Coral Springs, will have fewer places to go, starting Tuesday.
According to Coral Springs administrators, on Monday, the testing site at Mullins Hall is closing.
When the omicron variant surged across the world, the location at 10150 NW 29 Street at Mullins Park opened in early January to keep with demand for testing.
According to administrators, the testing site at the city’s Sportsplex is moving to the city’s former City Hall location at 9551 West Sample Road, starting on Tuesday.
At that spot, another Covid-19 testing site closed late last month.
As the omicron surge has dwindled, these changes are taking place, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has relaxed its mask guidance for communities.
