COVID In Florida: 2,805 New Cases, 97 Additional Deaths Reported Tuesday

MIAMI – The Florida Department of Health reported another 2,805 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday.
That brings the total to 2,296,785 since the first publicly announced infection in March of 2020.
There were 97 additional deaths, bringing the total to 36,954.
The single-day positivity rate was 4.56% while the 14-day positivity rate was 4.68%.
MIAMI-DADE
In Miami-Dade, there were 554 newly reported cases of COVID-19 and 14 newly reported deaths.
The death toll stands now at 6,333.
The additional cases increased Miami-Dade County’s overall total to 495,921.
The single-day positivity rate was 3.78% while the 14-day positivity rate was 4.20%.
BROWARD
In Broward, there were 218 new cases and 14 additional deaths.
The death toll stands at 3,026.
Broward County’s overall total increased to 242,417 cases.
The single-day positivity rate was 3.05% while the 14-day positivity rate was 3.73%.
MONROE
In Monroe, there were 2 newly reported cases and no additional deaths.
Monroe County’s overall totals are 7,040 cases and 49 deaths.
The single-day positivity rate was 1.57% while the 14-day positivity rate was 3.21%.
