Dr. Kimberly Jean Kilgore died while scuba diving in Keys

Miami, Florida –While scuba diving in the Florida Keys, an Alaskan 57-year-old pediatrician from Juneau died.
According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, on Friday Dr. Kimberly Jean Kilgore died while diving with a group off Islamorada.
Kilgore was in about 45 feet of water when she began having trouble and lost consciousness on the surface, deputies said.
The diving boat’s crew began CPR and paramedics were summoned, but she was pronounced dead at the hospital.
At this time, no foul play is suspected.
