Fat Boyz Barbecue has reopened at a new location in Coral Springs
Coral Springs, Florida – The Southern restaurant business Fat Boyz Barbecue, well-known for its genuine flavors, has declared their return to Coral Springs.
Fat Boyz has ventured into the city before. They had a site at 6192 W Sample Rd. in 2018, but it closed in 2021.
Owner Jarael Holston-Jones attributes the closure to the strain of running two shops and a food truck in addition to a pandemic issue that is becoming more widespread: a shortage of staff, according to the Sun-Sentinel.
“I’m spreading myself too thin, and it’s been hard keeping up quality control between the two locations,” he says. “We just couldn’t overcome it.”
Fat Boyz Barbecue, which has its beginnings in Fort Lauderdale, has developed a devoted customer base because to its slow-smoked meats.
The restaurant has released a news release stating that their new Coral Springs site would be in the now-closed Juana La Cubana Coffee, located at 10334 West Sample Road.
A spokesman stated that an opening date of April 20, 2024 is planned.
