High-Speed police pursuit in South Florida

Miami-Dade, Florida – After a high-speed police pursuit occurred in South Florida Wednesday evening, two suspects were taken into custody.
Before 5 p.m., Broward Sheriff’s deputies were on the lookout for a stolen vehicle out of Orlando in unincorporated central Broward.
Footage showed a dark-colored sedan fleeing from police and weaving in and out of traffic at a high rate of speed. The chase had been underway in Miami-Dade and went north into Broward.
The vehicle pulled over on the side of the road in the area of U.S. 441 and Griffin Road, and the two suspects casually got out of the car and didn’t run away.
Until officers arrived, the driver even took a seat on the curb.
Officers moved in and took both of them into custody after a few moments.
