How Coral Springs, Parkland, and Broward Voted In Presidential Election
CORAL SPRINGS, FL- Americans everywhere are watching voting updates as the 2020 Presidential election continues to unfold.
Donald Trump defeated Joe Biden in Florida overall by about 160,000 votes, according to unofficial results.
In Broward County, however, more than 65 percent of the vote went to Joe Biden versus 35 percent for Donald Trump.
The Broward County Elections Office has released city-by-city results of the presidential election.
In Coral Springs, 62 percent voted for Biden versus 37 percent for Trump.
In Parkland, residents voted in favor of Joe Biden over Donald Trump by about eight percentage points, 53.5 percent to 45.7 percent.
Trump’s highest vote-getting city in Broward County was Lighthouse Point, where he received 66 percent of the vote. Biden won Lauderdale Lakes with 92 percent of voters.
Voter turnout was 76 percent in Broward County, while 83 percent of Parkland residents voted in the 2020 election.
