Man Arrested After Being Caught Masturbating Inside Parked Car at Publix

A Margate man was arrested for exposing his sexual organs after employees of a blood bus reported he was masturbating inside his car.
On March 29, Coral Springs Police responded to a call about a man, later identified as William Cruz Humes, 22, who was allegedly masturbating inside of his car in the Publix parking lot at 2201 North University Drive. Once they arrived, officers spoke to blood bus employees who said they witnessed Humes in the act.
According to the report, one of the witnesses told police she was walking near the front entrance of the store when she observed Humes through his front windshield moving his hand in an up and down motion.
When she returned to the bus, the witness told police she asked her co-workers if anyone else had seen the same thing, but when they looked outside the window, Humes had moved his vehicle to a parking space directly behind the bus.
When police approached Humes’s vehicle, they observed him with his pants and underwear off and could clearly see that he was pleasuring himself to porn that he was watching on his phone.
Officers confronted Humes, who admitted to police he came to the parking lot to masturbate because he was stressed out. Humes also told police that he masturbates in his car 2-3 times a week because he does not want to get caught doing it at home.
Humes was arrested and transported to the Broward County Main Jail.
