Man injured in shooting at apartment complex in Coral Springs
Coral Springs, Florida – According to police, a man was shot Wednesday morning at an apartment complex on the south side of Coral Springs, across from the Church by the Glades.
Police said the man had life-threatening injuries and was transported to Broward Health North.
The alleged shooter was in custody, said Officer Chris Swinson, a spokesman for Coral Springs Police Department.
According to police, the shooting was reported around 9 am at the Club Lake Pointe in the 300 block of Lakeview Drive where the injured man outside an apartment where there were three children and two adults, Swinson said.
No one else was injured. Investigators were trying to determine what led up to the shooting and believe it had to do with a fight over a boyfriend, he said.
