Man riding bicycle hit by car in Weston airlifted to hospital

Weston, Florida – Officials are investigating after they said man riding a bicycle was hit by a car in Weston.
A grey sedan which remained at the scene was the vehicle that struck the bicyclist and finished up with smashed windshield.
There is no information whether the driver of that sedan vehicle remained at the place of the accident.
The incident happened Sunday morning in the northbound lanes of Bonaventure Boulevard near South Post Road.
Because of the serious injuries the victim had to be taken to hospital by a helicopter.
Police have not released any information about the condition of the victim, whether they have anyone in custody or if the driver managed to escape from the scene.
