Man shot in the leg in an overnight shooting in Lauderdale Lakes
Fort Lauderdale – According to the police report a man was wounded in an overnight shooting in Lauderdale Lakes.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. in a shopping center in the 3600 block of North State Road 7, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they found a man who had been shot in the leg. He was hospitalized and his injury was described as non-life threatening.
As deputies canvassed the area for the gunman, a driver who left the plaza was stopped for questioning. It was determined he was not involved.
