New Covid-19 record reported in Florida
Florida – Florida Department of Health reported 17,192 new Covid-19 cases on the last day of 2020 which is the highest single-day increase in Covid-19 cases this year. FDH also reported 127 additional deaths, bringing the total of 21,990 deaths due to the coronavirus.
The previous record in Florida was on July 12 with 15,300 new Covid-19 cases.
Since the beginning of the pandemic Florida has reported a total of 1,323,315 Covid-19 cases.
State’s positivity rate is 11.57%.
