Coral Springs, Florida – We are pleased to inform that we voted to appoint Deputy City Manager Catherine Givens as Coral Springs’ new City Manager after meticulous, public interviews.

Givens, the city’s first female city manager, will succeed Frank Babinec, who is retiring after 31 years in public service, five of those as city manager. Givens will collaborate with Babinec to assure operational continuity after his January 6, 2025 retirement. Explore Givens on the city’s website.

Residents who qualified should vote in the November 5 General Election. City referendum titles and questions on the general election ballot can be voted on alongside national and state concerns. Independent Coral Springs people conducted a yearlong Charter Review to decide the referendums. Visit CoralSprings.gov/Vote for election details, including descriptions of local referendums.
