Oktoberfest event planned on Oct. 16 in Coral Springs

Coral Springs, Florida – On Wednesday officials announced Coral Springs’ Oktoberfest event is planned for Oct. 16 on the lawn of City Hall.
Formally known as Artoberfest, the event is family-friendly and will run from 4-10 pm and feature authentic German fare, entertainment, beer, and wine.
There will be activities and games for children with special guest Rapunzel, according to a news release.
Throughout the evening the Swinging Bavarians will perform traditional songs.
Festival attendees can also get to try Bavarian fare including bratwurst and potato pancakes.
There will also be a beer garden serving up a variety of Bavarian beers and German wines.
Parking will be free at the City Hall garage.
