On December 4, Coral Springs hosts a monthly all-ages chess meet-up
Coral Springs, Florida – The monthly all-ages chess event hosted by the Parks and Recreation Department invites kings and rooks to make their moves.
The Coral Springs Gymnasium will host the “Open Play Chess” meetup. On certain Wednesdays throughout the year, chess fans of all ability levels will be able to play casual games.
On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., the following session is planned.
Notably, a certified coach from the National Scholastic of Chess Foundation will now teach during the first session of every month. With this update, novices will be able to improve their skills and experienced players will have the opportunity to hone their tactics.
Since pre-registration is not necessary and admission is free, chess enthusiasts of all ages are welcome to attend.

-Wednesday, December 4, 2024 | 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
-Wednesday, January 15, 2025, | 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
-Additional sessions through April 2025
