Police in Pompano Beach report a man and woman dead in what seems to be a murder-suicide

Pompano Beach, Florida – In Pompano Beach, a man and a woman were slain in what the authorities are calling a murder-suicide.
The incident occurred on Thursday just before 12:30 p.m. in the area of Northeast Third Street and North Pompano Beach Boulevard. The Pompano Beach Fire Rescue units and the Broward Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the location.
According to deputies, two persons were discovered with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.
Investigators said that after shooting the victim, the man shot himself.
The male was transferred to a local hospital, where he eventually passed away, while the woman was declared dead at the site.
According to photos that were obtained, the man was handcuffed by deputies before being transported to the hospital.
Those who witnessed the killing in broad daylight described it as horrible.
According to a witness, “All I heard were about three or four shots.” “When I saw all the police cars pulling up one by one, I knew it was a big deal.”
“I saw the dead body on the ground.” “Oh my God, that girl must have—what happened?” exclaimed another witness to what had happened.
“This is our condo.” We frequently visit this place. A second person remarked, “We’ve never seen anything bad happen here.”
No identity or relationship between the deaths has been disclosed by the detectives.
According to the police, the neighborhood is not in danger because this was an isolated incident. The events leading up to the shooting are still being investigated.
