Sheriff’s Office: Coral Springs Driver Arrested In Deadly Street Racing Crash With Child In Car

CORAL SPRINGS, FL – After a fatal 130 mph street race, a Coral Springs man faces vehicular homicide and child abuse charges, Broward Sheriff’s Office said Thursday.
On Tuesday, Steven Seneca, 35, was taken into custody after an investigation revealed he allegedly was street racing on Jan. 30 in Deerfield Beach with a motorcyclist who crashed and died, BSO said in a news release.
Investigators also determined that a 5-year-old child was in Seneca’s white Dodge Charger Hellcat during the time of the incident, the release said.
According to BSO, deputies responded around 12 p.m. on Jan. 30 to Southwest 10th Street just west of Waterways Boulevard in Deerfield Beach.
