Shots fired into home in Miami

Miami, Florida – Someone shot up a home Friday morning. Miami police are investigating.
According to police, the incident occurred around 4 a.m. in the 3100 block of Southwest 16th Terrace in the city’s Little Havana neighborhood.
A man who lives nearby said he only heard one gunshot.
“At 3 a.m. in the morning, I heard a really loud noise. I was confused,” Yuri Martinez said. “So I woke up, I looked to the window and I didn’t see anything so I went back to sleep, and when I got up I saw police.”
Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered the home that had been shot at. The window of another vehicle was also shattered.
According to the owner of the house, his home didn’t sustain any damage.
“It surprised me because I’ve never seen anything like this happen here,” Martinez said.
No one was injured in the shooting, City of Miami Police Officer Kiara Delva confirmed.
At this time, the motive for the shooting is unclear.
