The Coral Springs Museum of Art is still offering exciting summer art camps

Coral Springs, Florida – For young artists between the ages of five and eighteen, the Coral Springs Museum of Art is once again providing a dynamic assortment of cultural and artistic programs this summer. An immersive creative, educational, and enjoyable experience is what these sessions guarantee.

Cultural Camps for Ages 6.5 – 12

The purpose of the Cultural Camps is to expose pupils to the many artistic traditions of different countries. Campers participate in a full-day program that rotates among three interesting classes throughout each session.

Drop-off is from 8:45 p.m. to 9:15 a.m., Studio I is from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., there is a lunch break till noon, Studio II is from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., and Studio III is from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Children are available for parents to pick up between 3:00 and 3:15 pm. Every session ends with a Family Art Exhibit, which showcases the children’s creations from 2:30 pm to 3 pm.

Cultural Camp Sessions:

– Cuba: June 24 – July 5 (there will be no camp on July 4). The cost is $400 for members and $450 for non-members.
– Germany: July 8 – July 19. $450 for members, $500 for non-members.
– Polynesia: July 22 – August 2. $450 for members, $500 for non-members.

Art Start for Ages 5-6

For small toddlers, Art Start is ideal. It offers a moderate introduction to art through gallery tours, story times, and interactive exercises.

Projects vary every session, which lasts for two weeks and lasts three hours a day. Five-year-olds enrolled in Art Start must have completed kindergarten or VPK.

Art Start Sessions:

– Session 2: June 24 – July 5 (No camp on July 4). 9:00 am-12:00 pm. $200 for members, $225 for non-members.
– Session 3: July 8 – July 19. 9:00 am-12:00 pm. $225 for members, $250 for non-members.
– Session 4: July 22 – August 2. 9:00 am-12:00 pm. $225 for members, $250 for non-members.

Teen Summer Intensives

Teens can take a variety of rigorous classes to delve into particular art styles. All materials are supplied, and each session is tailored to improve particular creative abilities and inventiveness.

Teen Intensives:

– Painting On The Move: June 24 – July 5 (No camp on July 4). 9:00 am-12:00 pm. $200 for members, $225 for non-members.
– 3D and Mixed Media: June 24 – July 5 (No camp on July 4). 1:00 pm-4:00 pm. $200 for members, $225 for non-members.
– Teen Painting and Drawing Studio: July 8 – July 19. 1:00 pm-4:00 pm. $225 for members, $250 for non-members.
– Drawing Out & About: July 22 – August 2. 9:00 am-12:00 pm. $225 for members, $250 for non-members.
– Portfolio Development: July 22 – August 2. 1:00 pm-4:00 pm. $225 for members, $250 for non-members.
– Teen Ceramics Studio: Various sessions from June 24 to August 2. Prices vary.

Mini Camps

Ages 5 to 12, the Mini Camps provide a rigorous one-week program to cap off the summer. These camps offer an excellent opportunity to quickly experiment with a wide range of materials and methods.

Mini Camp Schedule:

– Ages 5-6: August 5 – August 9. 9:00 am-12:00 pm. $100 for members, $125 for non-members.
– Ages 7-12: August 5 – August 9. 9:30 am-3:00 pm. $225 for members, $250 for non-members.
– Teen Art Studio: August 5 – August 9. 1:00 pm-4:00 pm. $100 for members, $125 for non-members.
