The J.P. Taravella bowling team defeats Marjory Stoneman Douglas 3-1

Coral Springs, Florida – On October 16, the J.P. Taravella Bowling team defeated Marjory Stoneman Douglas 3-1 in honor of senior night.
At Bowlero Tamarac, the Trojans are the best bowling team in the Coral Springs area.
In the final game, the Trojans defeated the Eagles, and both teams paid tribute to their senior members. Taravella boasts a number of really skilled senior bowlers, such as Zachary Kimbrell, who reached 300 games—a very impressive feat.
“I’m passionate about bowling, and my goal is to keep playing in college,” stated Kimbrell, an engineering major.
Marvin Dixon has had a tremendous bowling career and scored 299 games, according to coach Greg Mason. Rey Mararaj has played a helpful role in Bryce Collins’ numerous victories.
This season, Marjory Stoneman Douglas has won a lot of games. Coach Mike Gregory claims that the Eagles have improved and worked hard. Vicent Ciullo, a key team member who has amassed a 300 game but not in a high school match, was one of the two seniors honored.
Gregory claims that Jonathan Rios has also improved as a bowler.
Coral Glades has progressed during the season, and according to coach Joe Catalano, the boys’ and girls’ teams are rated third at Bowlero.
Catalano claims that Kylee Boyd is a leader on the girls’ squad and that his son Anthony, Lane Brainard, and Jared Dubrow are the key players on the boys’ side.
The girls’ bowling team from Coral Springs Charter won the BCAA championship with a perfect score. Coach Andrew Groothuis states that Faith Tucker and Audrey Gold are the team’s leaders despite the fact that there are no seniors on the squad.
The teams will travel to Boca Raton on October 21 to compete in the district championship. They’ll be playing against Palm Beach County teams. Mason says the Trojan bowlers may make it to the state finals if they play their finest games.
Gregory stated that if the players bowl an average of at least 190, MSD can progress.
