This June, the Invision Theatre Company will bring “In the Heights” from Broadway to Coral Springs

Coral Springs, Florida – The Coral Springs Center for the Arts is home to the Invision Theatre Company, which is preparing for its performance of the 2008 Tony Award-winning musical “In the Heights.”

The musical is slated to open at 7:30 p.m. on June 7 and June 8 and has music and lyrics by renowned artist Lin-Manuel Miranda and a book by Pulitzer Prize winner Quiara Alegria Hudes.

“In The Heights” delves into daily life in the energetic Washington Heights neighborhood of New York City. It depicts a community that is full with aspirations and hopes, accentuated by the melodies of three generations of music, and struggles with determining which customs to uphold.

Drew Ramsarran plays the primary part of Usnavi in the ensemble, with Noah Noria playing Nina, Evan Fuerst playing Benny, and Jasarie Mercedes playing Vanessa. A wide range of personalities make up the ensemble, which as a whole captures the essence and diversity of the neighborhood.

Residents and guests of the area are cordially invited to see this vibrant and poignant show by Invision Theatre Company, which honors the depth of interpersonal relationships within a community. The cost of a ticket ranges from $36 to $43, with special student discount of $20.
