To support Toys for Tots, Local 10’s Big Bus Toy Express is back at The Walk

Coral Springs, Florida – The Coral Springs community is cordially invited to join Local 10’s Big Bus Toy Express on Friday, December 13 from 12 to 1 p.m., as it makes a special stop at The Walk. The holiday season is a time for giving.
A live webcast from The Walk, located at 2750 N University Drive, will be part of the event, which benefits the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program.
To help spread holiday cheer to underprivileged kids, locals are urged to bring brand-new, unopened toys to the large fountain during the live broadcast.
Everyone who donates throughout the hour will receive a complimentary ice cream treat from Kilwins as a thank you. In addition, Olaf the Snowman will be present to thank contributors and welcome Channel 10.
During a live broadcast with Kristi Krueger of Local 10, The Walk and Amera Corp showed their dedication to the Toys for Tots cause last year by delivering an enormous $1,000 donation check.
“We’ve been able to raise $1,000 on behalf of The Walk and Amera Corp to donate to the Marine Corps and Toys for Tots,” Gillian Johnson, Director of Marketing and Business Services at The Walk, told Coral Springs Talk last year. We sincerely appreciate Channel 10’s outstanding work.
To help guarantee that no child goes without a gift this Christmas season, Amera and The Walk will also be contributing money this year.
Toys are being collected by The Walk through December 12 at the following sites for anyone who are unable to attend the event on December 13:
Amera Corp: 2900 N University Drive, 2nd Floor (Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.)
BurgerFi: 2716 N University Drive
Berkshire Hathaway: 2754 N University Drive
City EyeCare: 2812 N University Drive
