7 Coral Springs athletes reach podium at the State Championship
Coral Springs, Florida – 7 students from Coral Springs High School, Coral Springs Charter, and J.P. Taravella finished in the top eight at the State Championship.
The Colts’ lone representative was Maxwell Servius competing in the high jump and finishing tied for sixth place.
Alexandra Bruno of Coral Springs Charter, in her second straight trip to States, came in fifth in the shot put.
J.P. Taravella had five students make the podium with the girls 4 x 100 relay consisting of Jade Brown, Aleah Marriott, Saniyah Johnston, and Ajah Arscottt, while Brown finished fifth in the 100 meters.
Elijah Rowe came in eighth in the long jump and seventh in the 200 meters, breaking a school record with a time of 25.51.
