Spring Break adventure awaits at Spitfire Farm’s Horse Camp in Coconut Creek

Coral Springs, Florida – Parents and guardians looking for an exciting way to spend Spring Break with their kids don’t need to look much further than Spitfire Farm’s Horse Camp.
The equestrian facility, run by Ejola and Paul Cook, is located in Coconut Creek and provides a distinctive camp experience that sounds like fun and education at the same time.
With 36 horses spread across five verdant acres, Spitfire Farm is open to kids of all ages and ability levels. Each camper can choose a horse to bond with at the farm, which boasts a varied horse population that includes both advanced competitors and rescue horses.
The Cooks group kids based on age and riding ability to keep camp sizes reasonable and provide individualized attention. The curriculum is developed to provide students with a thorough understanding of horseback riding, along with opportunities for nature hikes, arts and crafts, and horse care.
After learning how to tack up and groom the horses, campers embark on riding sessions. They are taught how to untack and wash the horses after the ride. After a packed lunch, enjoy an afternoon full of artistic activities and unique painting opportunities on real horses, along with informative nature hikes that highlight the value of proper horse care.
Additionally, campers have the unique opportunity to tour Tradewinds Park on horseback at Spitfire Farm. To make sure that the enjoyment never stops, the camp also plans a range of activities, such as water play days and guest speaker sessions on various facets of horse care.
Flexible enrollment options are available for single days or the entire week at subsidized rates. The camp runs from March 25 to March 29. Sibling discounts apply. Standard day prices are $100, while extended day prices are $120. Twenty kids every day are allotted slots to preserve the caliber of the experience.
Standard and extended day options are available at the camp to meet the needs of various family schedules. Guardians must fill out a registration form and send in a $50 non-refundable deposit for each kid to reserve a space.
Forms are available at spitfirefarm.com/camps/. For additional information or to sign up your child for a Spring Break adventure, visit their website.
