As temperatures drop preparations underway to keep animals at Zoo Miami warm
Southwest Miami-Dade, Florida – Zookeepers at Zoo Miami are getting ready for the cold weather on Sunday.
They are helping the animals stay cozy with warm blankets and enclosures for the cold front.
According to Zoo officials, they will use heaters and heat lamps to warm enclosures, keeping reptiles safe.
According to Zookeepers, smaller animals will be placed in kennels in a heated room.
