Coral Springs Announces 3 Deck the Halls Holiday Décor Contest Winners

Coral Springs, Florida – The City of Coral Springs announces the three winners of the 2020 Deck the Halls Holiday Décor Contest after receiving an overwhelming number of entries.
The winners were selected based on the creativity, theme, and effort of exterior decorations only. The judges included the city commission, management staff, and participants from the city’s CS Proud Squad of social media influencers.
Mayor Scott Brook thanked all the residents who participated and said their decorations brightened up our community.
“I congratulate the top three homeowners for their award-winning holiday décor and consider all of you who brought such happiness to our community to be winners. We need and appreciate your support.”
First Place
The Lublin family, who has lived in Coral Springs for 19 years, participated in the “Deck the Halls” contest for the first time this year.
Their 80 hours of decorating for the holidays paid off as they received the highest judgment ratings. They were selected for first place after spending 80 hours decorating their home for the holiday season.
Second Place
For the last 40 years, the Gill Potanovic family has called Coral Springs home, and for the first time, they entered the “Deck the Halls” contest. The family worked for three weeks to finish decorating their home.
Third Place
The Robison family, who have resided in Coral Springs for five years, were also first-time participants in this fun, festive contest. It took them three weeks to complete their decorations and welcome families to enjoy.
First, second, and third place winners will receive a gift card to a local restaurant and a yard sign highlighting their win for the front of their homes.
The winning photos, along with participants who shared their home address, are featured on our city’s social media accounts and website. Residents are invited to ride around the city and view all of the submissions using this map.
