Coral Springs, Florida – As part of the city’s Alert Coral Springs program, Coral Springs residents and business owners can anticipate receiving an emergency notification test message this Friday, August 2, at 9:30 a.m.

To make sure it works properly, the alert system—which is intended to deliver quick updates in case of crises like bad weather, gas leaks, or evacuations—will be put to the test.

The city claims that depending on their preferences, subscribers will receive notifications by text, phone call, email, or all three.

After receiving the test message, nothing needs to be done. By visiting AlertCoralSprings.org or texting AlertCS to 888-777, subscribers can change their settings or create up notifications.

Frequent testing guarantees the timely distribution of vital information and aids in the upkeep of an accurate contact list.
