Coral Springs Reopens Playgrounds, Asks Parents to Wipe Down Surfaces

Coral Springs, Florida – Coral Springs officials began Friday to reopen playgrounds at city parks and urged parents to “wipe down high touch surface areas.”
The city said in a news release that crews will start reopening 38 playgrounds on Friday, a process that could take up to 24 hours.
Once opened, crews will clean and disinfect playgrounds, but it’s up to parents to wipe down areas where their children play, the news release said.
Officials also asked parents and children to avoid playgrounds if they are feeling sick.
Reopening the playgrounds in Coral Springs is part of a wider lifting of Covid-19 safety restrictions approved for businesses, sports activities, clubhouse gyms and pools, and other facilities across Broward County. Read more about the reopening.
