Garden Club of Coral Springs to teach senior residents about “container gardening”

Coral Springs, Florida – On Thursday, the Garden Club of Coral Springs is going to teach senior residents about “container gardening,” useful for people who love growing things but don’t have a big backyard.
Hosted by Jeri Decker, president of the club, and fellow member and master gardener, Pilar Londono, the event features a digital presentation, followed by a live demonstration with lots of soil and pollinating plants.
“We’ll be showing people how to plant a native garden, full of color, all within containers that easily fit on your balcony or patio,” Decker said.
The free, open-to-the-public event will take place from 1-3 p.m. on Thursday at 2029 North University Drive.
It requires registration and RSVP by phone or email.
