Covid-19
Here’s where you can get Covid-19 vaccine in Broward County if you are 65 or older

Broward County, Florida – There’s now a bunch of places to get vaccines for those 65 and older in Broward County, but getting appointments will require being persistent – calling and checking a website frequently.
Sites run Florida Department of Health in Broward
Drive-through sites are open, by appointment only, at:
– Tradewinds Park, 3600 West Sample Road, Coconut Creek.
– Vista View Park, Southwest 142nd Avenue, Davie.
– Markham Park, 160001 West State Road 84, Sunrise.
– Holiday Park, 1150 G. Harold Martin Drive, Fort Lauderdale.
Opening Friday: Central Regional Park, 3700 NW 11th Place, Lauderhill.
Those without an appointment at any of these locations are likely to be turned away, according to the health department. Vaccinations are available at no cost.
Signing-up, though, has been a struggle for many. The website to make appointments (browardcovidvaccine.com) has had glitches, making it hard to fill out a form to register.
The department urges residents to check back on the site regularly. A check on the site on Friday afternoon showed that the site wasn’t accepting new appointments.
For those who have registered, you should receive an email confirmation.
Broward Health:
Broward Health has reached capacity for vaccinations through February and the hospital system is not taking appointments.
To learn more, call Broward Health’s Nurse Connect line at 954-759-7500.
Cleveland Clinic:
The hospital system is also scheduling appointments for seniors 65 and older.
Others who also qualify to receive the vaccine at Cleveland Clinic are:
– Cleveland Clinic patients with certain high-risk medical conditions at risk of severe illness from Covid-19 including patients with obesity, cancer, COPD, chronic kidney disease, immunocompromised state, heart conditions, sickle cell disease, pregnancy and Type 2 diabetes.
– Hospitalized patients who meet criteria and are being discharged from the hospital.
– Community health care providers and first responders.
To make an appointment, call 954-659-5950.
