Man Arrested For 9 Counts of Sexual Battery After Molesting 13-Year-Old Girl

A man was arrested and charged with nine counts of lewd and lascivious molestation and battery after admitting to sexually molesting a 13-year-old girl on multiple occasions.
On January 14, the victim provided Coral Springs Police with a sworn statement that alleges Cristian De Jesus Gutierrez, 23, of Pompano Beach, had met and molested her on three separate occasions, two of which occurred in Coral Springs.
According to the report, Gutierrez molested the victim inside her home on December 27 between 1 a.m. to 2 a.m. The victim described to police in graphic detail how he sexually assaulted her, and at one point during the ordeal, fled to a closet and hid when the victim’s parents were awoken.
The victim also told police that on January 5, Gutierrez picked her up and drove her to Paul Barre Park at 4351 Rock Island Road. According to the report, the victim was sexually molested on a park bench, then again in Gutierrez’s vehicle.
On January 12, the victim told officers Gutierrez again picked her up and took her to Paul Parre Park, where he assaulted her once again, this time after multiple requests to stop.
On both January 12 and January 16, the victim recorded phone calls with Gutierrez in which he admitted to the crimes, at one point discussing the fact that the victim was underage and that it was “a big risk” to be with her.
Gutierrez repeatedly admitted to continuing to perform sexual acts on the victim after she had asked him to stop, saying “he wasn’t trying to be mean or rough” when he continued his assaults.
On January 17, Gutierrez traveled to meet the victim at a time arranged by the police. He was stopped before he reached her and taken into custody, where he admitted to the assaults.
While in custody at the Broward County Main Jail, Gutierrez wrote the victim an apology letter, further admitting guilt.
