Miami Herald Critical Mass bicyclists riding Friday night through Miami

Miami, Florida – A bike ride event will be held through the streets of Miami and Miami Beach beginning at 7:15 p.m. Friday.
This is not a city-sanctioned or permitted event; however, in the interest of public safety, the Miami Beach Police Department will have officers at key intersections along the route.
They are asking that residents plan accordingly as this event will adversely impact traffic for a minimum of three hours.
Cyclists will enter Miami Beach via the 79th Street Causeway, continuing along until making a right at Indian Creek Drive, a right on West 41st Street, left on Pine Tree Drive, and then merging onto Dade Boulevard.
Cyclists will head west towards the Venetian Causeway where they will exit Miami Beach and continue into the City of Miami.
Critical Mass is a group that gathers cyclists for a ride on the last Friday of every month at different locations across Miami-Dade County.
