Northwest regional library in Coral Springs runs out of at-home rapid covid-19 test kits
Coral Springs, Florida – According to city administrators, less than two hours after at-home rapid Covid-19 test kits were distributed Thursday at Northwest Regional Library in Coral Springs, supplies had run out.
Hundreds of cars clogged roads at the entrance to the library at 3151 N. University Drive at the start of the 10 a.m. test kits giveaway in a drive-through, curbside service lane.
County organizers urged residents to visit other Broward County where test kits were given away as well.
According to county officials, test kits were expected to go quickly, and it was unclear if additional kits were going to be delivered to the county.
Test kits were secured through a partnership with the Florida Department of Health in Broward, the release said.
