Officers closed part of Wiles Road to investigate suspicious item

Coral Springs, Florida – According to Coral Springs Police Department, a part of Wiles Road was closed on Monday afternoon by the officers due to an investigation of a suspicious item.
The package was found near the 7-Eleven store at the intersection of Coral Spring Drive and Wiles Road at around 5 p.m.
Officers shut down traffic on Wiles Road between Coral Ridge Drive and 112 Avenue, and as they investigated it turned out that the suspicious package was an empty locker and did not contain nothing serious.
