Coral Springs, Florida – Coral Glades and Cooper City High School will square off on the April 18 episode of School Duel, which promises to be an entertaining evening of intellectual rivalry.
The program is slated to air at 8:00 p.m. on BECON-TV and be available for live streaming on YouTube.

The only locally produced quiz show in South Florida that focuses on high school competition is called School Duel. The program provides a venue for twenty-four high school teams, each with three students, from the counties of Broward, Miami-Dade/Palm Beach, and several private schools.

These teams compete in 12 intense individual games to show off their subject-matter expertise and swift thinking.

The show’s host, Lisa Lee, a former HEATV star, elevates this instructional competition with her strong presence and experience. School Duel is a thorough intellectual challenge that goes beyond simple responses.

Four rounds make up the competition format: the First Strike, Joust, Rapid Action, and Final Showdown. Each round is meant to test students’ knowledge in a fun and interesting way.
In addition to gift cards and voucher meal cards, BrightStar Credit Union and Chick-fil-A are among the sponsors providing prizes for the competitors.

This episode and others are available to watch every Thursday at 8 p.m. as part of the 2024 School Duel season, which runs through May 16; rebroadcasts occur on Saturdays and Sundays at 10 a.m.

Remember to attend May 2’s Marjory Stoneman Douglas vs. Monarch match.

A wide audience can watch BECON-TV, the School Duel broadcasting platform, on Comcast Cable (channels 488 & 19), DirecTV, DISH Network, and AT&T U-Verse (channel 63). The broadcasting platform is available in the counties of Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach.
