The cross-country team from Coral Springs Charter School is heading to state championships

Coral Springs, Florida – This weekend, the Cross Country team from Coral Springs Charter School will participate in the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) Cross Country State Championships.
The team qualified for the state tournament after finishing sixth in the FHSAA Region 2A in Boca Raton on November 8 under the direction of head coach Brantley Barr and assistant coaches Ryan Pinney and Laura Maniscalco.
At the state championships, Coral Springs Charter School will be represented by the following athletes: The team’s alternative runners will be Sydney McDougall (9th grade), Alyson Thomas (9th grade), Cecilia Kozlowski (7th grade), Lily Richardson (9th grade), Hailey Lockwitz (9th grade), Kendall Parrott (8th grade), Mackenzie Maniscalco (Senior Captain), and Taylor Hartley, 9th grade.
The State Championships will be place at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee on Saturday, November 16, 2024, starting at 8 a.m.
