The deadline to apply for 2024–2025 school choice is nearing

Coral Springs, Florida – Parents in Coral Springs still have time to apply for School Choice Phase III for the 2024–2025 academic year.
The deadline of Monday, July 15, 2024, is drawing near. The online application process is available at browardschools.com/schoolchoice.
Applications for magnet programs and school reassignments at schools with available seats can be submitted during the School Choice Phase III application session.
In addition, parents can apply to Nova Dwight Eisenhower Elementary School and Nova Blanche Forman Elementary School for kindergarten spots.
Important Information for Applicants:
Families new to Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) must visit any District school to obtain a student number required for the application process. After applying, families will receive an email confirmation. Parents can monitor their child’s application status via the Check Your Status webpage at browardschools.com/schoolchoice.
Families of students placed in a wait pool following the Phase I and Phase II application windows do not need to submit another application unless they are applying for a different school or magnet program. The original application remains active throughout the entire process.
During the week of August 5–9, 2024, parents and guardians will receive information regarding the progress of their School Choice application. This covers status updates from Phases I and II as well as new applications for Phase III.
It is recommended that parents and guardians visit browardschools.com/schoolchoice to learn about all of the District’s School Choice alternatives and to apply online.
Reach out to the Office of School Choice at schoolchoice@browardschools.com for additional details.
