New splash pad to be built at Betti Stradling Park in Coral Springs

Coral Springs, Florida – As part of a plan to replace the spot with a new splash pad, the city announced on social media that this week crews are starting to remove an outdoor fitness area at a Coral Springs park.
The fitness area will be rebuilt in another section of Betti Stradling Park at 10301 Wiles Road.
In November, Coral Springs approved, paying $426,760 to hire SplashPads USA, Inc. of North Salt Lake, Utah to build the splash pad in the area where the fitness section is now, right next to Princess Meadow’s Playground.
According to city administrators, the 4,000 square-foot splash pad will feature dump buckets, covered seating, and LED lights.
By June, it’s expected to open to the public.
