Stoneman Douglas football falls to Plantation in homecoming Game
Parkland, Florida – In its annual homecoming game on a rainy night in Parkland by a score of 40-26, the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School football team fell to Plantation High School.
Plantation scored a defensive touchdown and special teams touchdown in the first half on the way to a 21-7 halftime lead over Stoneman Douglas.
The Eagles climbed within one score at 34-26 late in the game before a final touchdown by Plantation cemented the game and a final score of 40-26.
Plantation improves to 2-1 on the season while Douglas falls to 1-1.
On Friday, September 16, 2022, Stoneman Douglas next plays Jensen Beach in a non-district away game.
