The City of Coral Springs hosts Veterans Day celebration on Nov 11th

Coral Springs, Florida – Each year the City of Coral Springs partners with the Veterans Coalition to host an annual Veterans Day.
Dr. Ana Barbosa is serving as a guest speaker, Manager of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for Coral Springs.
Dr. Barbosa, a retired Senior Master Sergeant of the United States Air Force, served as the Chief Advisor to the Commander on all matters concerning the health, morale, welfare, readiness, and personnel programs for the servicemen and women under their leadership.
The Coral Springs Police and Fire Honor Guard will honor our nation’s military members with a wreath-laying and full honors.
“Celebrating the sacrifice of our military men and women is one of the most important things we can do as a community,” said Mayor Scott Brook. I am so proud to join my fellow city commissioners, the members of the Veterans Coalition of Coral Springs, and residents to extend our collective gratitude for their service.”
On Thursday, November 11 at 10:45 a.m. everyone is advised to wear patriotic colors and bring family, friends, and neighbors to Veterans Park at 8601 Royal Palm Blvd.
