Body of Florida school student found in pond by family members
Florida – Several days after a middle school student was reported missing, the body of a Florida was found by family members in a retention pond on Christmas Day, authorities said.
According to authorities, the body of the 14-year-old boy was found in a retention pond in Royal Palm Beach, Florida on Saturday by family members.
They had been searching for him between a middle school and recreation center.
According to a news release from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, there didn’t appear to be any signs of trauma or injury on the boy’s body.
The county’s school district police put out a missing person alert after he didn’t come home. The boy was last seen on Wednesday around the recreation center.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, the body was taken to the medical examiner’s office for further evaluation.
